PERSATUAN ALUMNI DOKTOR USM (PADU)

Introduction

The Persatuan Alumni Doktor USM (P.A.D.U.) is the medical alumni society of previous graduates of the School of Medical Sciences , Universiti Sains Malaysia . It was established in 1995 and since its inception has now over 600 members from various years of graduation.

Aims

The aims of the society are to :
 

  1. Foster closer relationship between graduates of the School of Medical Sciences both M.D. (USM) and M. Med. (USM).
  2. Foster closer cooperation between the graduates and the School of Medical Sciences and Hospital Universiti Sains Malaysia.
  3. To nationalised and internationalised the activities of the society.
  4. To start a non-profit charitable organisation to help the poor, needy sick patients of Malaysia and increase educational and research activities.
  5. To initiate a PADU Junior member branch society.


Location

The Society is currently based at the School of Medical Sciences, USM. This campus is the branch medical campus of Universiti Sains Malaysia. It is located in Kota Bharu, Kelantan which is on the north-east part of Peninsular Malaysia .
